Mrs. Trainor's Class' Book Talk

We have just finished reading Junie B. Jones Has a Peep in Her Pocket by Barbara Park. We thought the book was great. The main character is Junie B. Jones. Her class goes on a field trip to the farm. She does not want to go at the beginning but her mom makes her go. She tried to hide on the bus when they got to the farm. But that meanie Jim told Mrs. where she was. After she got off the bus she got to be Farmer Flores' helper. She got to hold a baby chick and put it in her pocket. She wanted to take it home but he told her she couldn't. She realized that she was not afraid of the farm and liked the field trip. We would recommend this book to anyone. Stay tuned to read what we think about the next book that we are starting - Second-Grade Friends by Miriam Cohen.
